Welcome!

So this is my first post. It feels a little weird, writing something that so far no one has even heard of!

Welcome anyway to something that might at least make you feel that perhaps I do have something valuable to say, though it might not be something that you fully agree or disagree with, the important thing is is to have an opinion!

Emergency Medical Services is still very young and we have come a long way in its short history. Where we will be in the next 35 years or so is really anyone's guess. The exciting thing is that you are in for the ride and have a vested interest in taking it forward, I hope anyway!

I have a huge passion for the profession, I want to see us with a degree program, recognition within many countries, validity at universities if we wish to re-train, validity with governments and management and someone to take my patient report with value ;)

So forgive my title for this blog, it's a little facetious I think, though it can be taken a few ways, I hope you interpret it with confidence!

I look forward to some dialogue with how things should be taken forward, I will value your opinions and ideas. Hopefully together, changes can be made that are important for future movement.

regards,
